WELCOME TO HKICON –
We accept applications for self-claimed CPD hours based on the following teaching and learning activities related to architectural conservation provided by credible organizations, institutions or professional bodies. Self-claimed CPD hours are valid for learning activities that have taken place within the corresponding membership term. Applications for older events will not be considered.
- Online / face-to-face conferences, workshops, seminars, site visits or guided tours of heritage sites.

Applicants should submit proof of attendance using either of the following evidence:
a. attendance certificate or
b. registration confirmation letter and photographic proof (or screenshot) of COMPLETION of attendance that covers the beginning and end of the event where attendance certificate is not available
- Online / face-to-face conferences, workshops, seminars or lectures delivered by members.

Applicants should submit details of the event or invitation acceptance proof, clearly indicating the speaker’s name(s) and topic (preparation hours equivalent to the event duration will be eligible for this claim).
- Online / distance learning in relevant subjects or physical training delivered by recognised institutes.

Applicants should submit course completion proof.
- On-the-job training endorsed by a HKICON Professional Member (PM).

Applicants should provide an endorsement by the HKICON PM verifying the training, along with any other proof.
When submitting self-claimed CPD, you must include a short, general description of the event and the relevant learning outcomes, dates (and duration) of event, and attach a copy of the required documentation to verify the CPD hours (including but not limited to those mentioned above).
The number of CPD hours to claim would be as specified by the provider but where this is not specified it should be the actual duration of the event.
HKICON administration will review your submitted information to ascertain that the self-claimed CPDs are appropriate. The final decision on self-claimed CPD hours is at the discretion of the HKICON Council.
