The Ju Cheng Tao Wu(菊城陶屋)is a pottery making studio utilizing the most traditional Shiwan pottery making techniques (including dragon kiln firing and ash glazes) established in 1983 by Master HE Zhanquan (何湛泉), the Municipal Representative Bearer of Zhongshan City for Making Pottery Decorative Ridges for Historic Buildings. The Studio specialises in the restoration of decorative ridges in traditional Chinese architecture. Miao Ling Gong (妙靈宮)is a one of the oldest temples in Xiao Lan (小欖), which history could be dated back to the 1630s. The Temple has several elaborated decorative ridges, which had been restored by the Ju Cheng Tao Wu in 2020. Interestingly, the design of the decorative ridges had also included some local stories and characteristics of Xian Lan instead of solely featuring auspicious patterns, literature, history and novel stories.
