About the CPD Talk
Jennifer Lang recently completed the UNESCO Chair Programme on Cultural Heritage and Risk Management (Ritsumeikan University, Japan), in cooperation with ICCROM – a seven-week International Training Course on Disaster Risk Management of Cultural Heritage, where she developed a Disaster Risk Management plan for The University of Hong Kong’s University Museum and Art Gallery housed in the Fung Ping Shan Building. In this talk, Jennifer will share insights about the course, current disaster risk management practice related to cultural heritage, and Hong Kong’s readiness to accommodate for such future events considering rapidly escalating climate change in the world.
