About the Site Visit
In June 2021, the Ex-Sham Shui Po Service Reservoir (Ex-SSPSR) was accorded a Grade 1 historical building status by the Antiquities Advisory Board. The Water Supplies Department (WSD) has launched a visiting programme and HKICON has booked a group tour for you.
The route between the assembly/dismissal point and the Ex-SSPSR takes a walk of about 15 minutes. It consists of mainly narrow trails and stairs and certain efforts will be required. Members should assess their own health conditions before making application for the guided tour.
Rules for Visit and Recommendations
Please refer to http://www.waterconservation.gov.hk/en/ex-sspsr/ for the Rules for Visit and Recommendations from the organiser.
You are particularly reminded to bring earphones with 3.5mm Plug (to connect individual audio receivers to be distributed during the visit).
