About the CPD 活動簡述:

Around the world, stakeholders managing cultural landscapes are trying to grapple with different management priorities to ensure lands retain their cultural significance, uphold sustainable development principles, mitigate the effects of the climate crisis and ensure financial viability and opportunities for its surrounding communities.

Findings from a recent study by the ICOMOS Sustainable Development Goals Working Group at World Heritage sites show the immediacy of the climate crisis as a catalyst for innovations on management decisions and looking at bigger sustainable development priorities.

The talk will also share insights from managing the Aves Estate at the foothills of the Sierra Madre Mountains in the Philippines and developing a Cultural Landscape Laboratory amidst the challenges of the climate crisis.
