The speaker will highlight the issues of ICH and how it impacts the conservation approach of tangible heritage in both local and global contexts. It will cover a brief introduction of the ICH concept and the ICOMOS Charter and Guidance on Sites with Intangible Cultural Heritage, and illustrate with selected case studies that provoke conservation practices that address living heritage intrinsically linked with heritage sites.
